Helping children find their path
The Peacock Foundation’s programs inspire and educate children throughout Los Angeles by empowering them with the skills and tools to advocate for themselves, enabling them to build hopeful and successful lives. With the help of rescued animals from local organizations and private animal educators, the participants learn social skills, communication skills, and coping skills.
Our programs help children gain access to animals and experience unconditional love and compassion, which promotes connection and builds self worth, pointing them towards a brighter future.
Our Flagship program, Creature Comfort, is our free program that provides eight weeks of group therapy for ten children at a time. This program is designed to introduce therapy to children and encourage self advocacy.Creature Comfort is designed to open up the minds and hearts of youth so they can have success and growth in their lives. The purpose is to introduce children and youth to mental health and counseling as a support system.
